HELP!!! Exchange will not receive emails!!!

Hello All,

I need urgent help here. I have an Exchange 2000 server that can send
emails but cannot receive them. I'm just not sure how to set the
relaying properties for hte SMTP virtual server to all mail to come
in to the server but not relay through the server. I'm desperate here
and up against a time crunch. Here's what I have so far:

I have two mail servers: mail.sofwerks.com (POP3 server outside of
firewall) and swexchc.sofwerks.com (exchange box inside firewall). I
have DNS setup as:
MX records:
mail.sofwerks.com[10] and swexchc.sofwerks.com[15]
A Records:
mail.sofwerks.com / 208.255.176.8
swexchc.sofwerks.com / 208.251.220.35

Within Exchange, the SMTP Virtual Server Access settings are:
Authentication: Anonymous Access (was set to Basic Authentication)
Relay: Only list below (list includes the IP of internal network as
well as IP of external POP3 server)

As far as my firewall, I have inbound access policies for MAIL and HTTP for OWA access, which works fine.

What else need I check here?! Where am I missing it?! Please help, I'm desperate!

Is your router set to foward all incoming external port 25 traffic to your internal Exchange ip?
