HELP !!!END OF FILE ENCOUNTERED UPON WRITE [24,34] (coberr 665)

When I run one of my compiled cobolII program i get the following.
FILE STATUS 34
END OF FILE ENCOUNTERED UPON WRITE [24,34] (coberr 665)
program file newxxa.grp.acc
END OF FILE (FSERR 0)
I have no clue how to solve this.The program was not developed by me.Pls help me.

The program is writing to a filie that is not large enough. Once you have identified the file, you need to increased the EOF size. If you need the data in the file, build a new file with similar charactoristics and FCOPY the old file into the new, purge the old file and rename the new to old. If you don't need the data in the file, PURGE the file then BUILD it again with a larger value for EOF. MPE has a good help facality.
