I need some help on stopping an email flood a specific address. What is happening is a person over the last 2 days has sent a total of 327 messages to an account on my mail server. I have contacted this person's ISP with the intent of having his service shutdown. What I'm wondering is do I have any sort of legal recourse as to stopping this activity for good. I really don't have the time to keep contacting ISP's. I can't just delete the account because it is the company's general information account. Any ideas, suggestions, or anything would be so helpful.

in your IMC there is an option to ban certain email addresses from coming in. Suggest you add this person to that list!

Yeah this guy isnt a Virus. He's pissed at the compnay over a $150.00 billing dispute. So he sends a message saying "PAY UP!" over and over. My problem is the billing isnt my department, but him using all my mail resources is. Monday I'm having his ISP terminate his connection, but I know he'll come at me some other way. Any ideas on how to really stop this him in his tracks?

PS The company absolutly refuses to pay this guy, I wish he'd just take it to court and settle it, I don't need the headache.
