E&M SYSTEM IS MALFUNCTIONING FROM ONE LOCATION. WHENEVER CALLER TRIES TO DIAL NETWORK PHONE NUMBER (4 DIGIT NUMBER) THAT HAS A ZERO IN IT THE CALL WILL NOT START. SYSTEM WAS FUNCTIONING NORMALLY FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME UNTIL 2 MONTHS AGO.

SYSTEM TYPE: MICS WITH 2.0 SOFTWARE

DIAGNOSING SO FAR: HAS CHECKED ROUTING COMPANY AND FOUND NO TROUBLES

Does anyone have any insight to this problem?

Not a clue...does "0" work to call reception or in a seven or ten digit string on ouside line?

The dtmf decoder on your e&m board may be shot, you can see if you are receiving the correct digits from the carrier by clipping a digit grabber on to the E&M trunks voice path and see what digits you are receiving from the other end. (swapping E&M boards from one location to other (if feasable) may help point it out)
alternatively put digit grabber on output voice path of E&M board and make sure that digits are routing out. JerryReeve
