Hi All,
Using CR version 8
I have this very trick problem. Mainly, I have to dispaly a database field as heading and the other one as details. For ex:say table 1 as
the following 3 fields.
1. table1.unit
2. table1.attribute
3. table1.attributevalue
each unit has about 40-49 attributes and more than one attributevalues.
I have to show table.attribute as a header( which is not static) and show the table1.attributevalues as details under the following attribute heading.
Report should look like
unit descr attrbute1 attribute2 attribute3...so on
1000 aaaa attrval1 attrval2 attrval3 ...so on
I have tried crosstab which was working good but few more new details to be shown on the report which is not so good looking in crosstab.
I have tried mulitple column option in format section but the rows are getting repeated. Is there a any other work around to get with this.
I know I will have paper problem too because the arrtibutes itself are around 40-49 and I have 10 more columns another than attributes. But my user want this to be exported to XL sheet for their validations.
I think I didn't justify myself but I hope Iam clear...
Any ideas are greatly appericated..
Thanks in advance,
Sweetie
