Hello,
We have several laptops with wi-fi adapters. We do not have a wirless access point or router yet. I just installed a wi-fi card in my workstation and am waiting for the access point to be delievered. In the mean time I wanted to see if there were any wi-fi networks in our office. My network adapter detects one peer-to-peer network.
I found the laptop that is hosting the network because when i disable the wi-fi card it goes away. The weird thing is when I check to see if ICS is enabled it says ICS has been disabled by the administrator. This must be a default group policy setting? so Why is this laptop sharing its connection???
Thanks,
Kurt
It's only easy when you know how.
