Hello All,

I have used a great script for a DHTML navigational menu (IE and NN compatible) found at the following link:

I used the x,y coordinates to position the menu where I want it. My problem is that every time, I click say on "Favorites" or "History" in IE, the DHTML menu shifts (floats) to the right. What causes this? Anybody?

I believe that the secret may lie in one of the JavaScript files associated with this menu. The problem is that I am not a JavaScript whiz at all. Could someone please help by going to the link above and trying to figure this out? I wasn't aware of this problem until the weekend so now I basically have NO TIME left before my project is due.

I would be very, very, very grateful :->. Thank you.

Hate to rain on your parade but it doesn't even show up in Netscape 6.x on Windows...

I dont think there is much you can do. The favourites / history panes are tacked on to the web page, and aren't actually in a frame as far as I am aware. So the menu moves over to the right along with the rest of the web document. What you could do is have an entry point page without a dynamic menu, then go to a navigation page without a toolbar (using a window.open call) so that you would not see this effect.

Cheers, Neil

Thanks all for your help and insight. Does anyone then know where I could find a good navigation menu (JavaScript) that drops down submenus when users hover over a topic? It should be IE and Netscape compatible. Anyone? Thanks.
