Thanks for you response Mr. Hunt...do you know of any code or templates on how to do this invoice in html...rather then word I am new to this...and clueless...

Thanks
John

It depends on what you want the invoice to look like and whether you want it to work with data coming from a database.

May I suggest you take a look over at and read through their HTML tutorials. At least to give you a basic idea of how to build a web page.

No doubt there are plenty of examples out there, try for a start.

HTML is a language for describing documents. You can produce all kinds of document with it, including invoices. Your question is way too general for us to answer here, you need to find out what information needs to appear on your invoice (which will probably vary from place to place), decide how you want it to look (which will need to fit in with other documents your company produces), then think about how to do it in HTML. Doing it in Word is one way, using a WYSIWYG web design tool would be better - see if you can download a free trial from anywhere. Best of all would be to follow Foamcow's advice and learn some HTML coding, it's not difficult to learn the basics.

If you have some specific questions - "how do I right-align a table cell" or similar - we'll see if we can help you.
