Hope you help.

I have been writting Database program for last few weeks, using Access 95, and now i have a problem, the computer that i am going to use my software has Office2000 and another PC has Office 97, Can someone plase help me, tell me how i can change my existing code so that i can use my software with either Access2000 or 97, I am using DAO with few SQL statements. i have been using a DOT ( . ) operator instead of ->.

PLease help / guide.
Thanks in advance.

What kind of Problem have You exactly? Generally, to make a compatible program, You must use older standard. Dao are compatibel, i think, Your problems are in SQL statements.

You either have to use CDatabase rather than CDaoDatabase or, on Access2000 / 97 use the utility to 'convert database to prior version', this will allow your CDaoDatabase calls to work.
If you do convert your App to use CDatabase you will have to register the Access database as a ODBC data source.
