Help creating SP 2007 list with expanding/hiding column

Hello, I'm looking to try and create a list that displays all of our training classes that we offer. I'd like to be able to show the title of the course, then a brief teaser text, and then a link or something to expand the selection to the full description and dates/times available. This is for information and not to register. There is multiple course available, so I figured just creating a list with custom columns, and then somehow having a button or link hide/unhide the long description for that particular course.

Any ideas?

you will need to customize the display form of your list (with sharepoint designer).
or use a third party list extension, which can split your display form into tabs (for example..)
