help create a working table of contents?

I am using crystal 11.

I have a report done and I need to create a table of contents that is user friendly.(clicking on the title brings them to correct page)

I researched online and they first said to create a table. and then gave further instructions. This is my first question, how exactly do I create a table? The cross tab dosnt seem to be a good tool for this.

Second how would I link it to the report so when they click on something it brings them to the correct page?

This is how I would like my contents to look like:
(each product is assigned to a code #, where each product also is assigned to a category. There are more than one products for each category.)

Category1.field (page numbers)

Code#.field Product1.field................... 23
Code#.field Product2.field................... 28


Category2.field (page numbers)

Code#.field Product6.field................... 23
Code#.field Product3.field................... 28


and so on...

I wanted to be able to click on the code and go to that page. Is there any way this can be done.
