I'm putting together a retainer proposal for the first time. Normally I've worked hourly or on projects. I plan to create three retainer options and let the client pick one, but I don't really have a great idea of what's normal. Anyone have any good rules of thumb?

Don't worry about specific numbers, just use N as the amount you normally bill per hour on a regular job, and use that in some sort of retainer-figuring equation.

Thanks!

Talk to a lawyer. There is no normal and you don't have enough information for anyone to help you.
