I am in the process of install SBS 2003 Standard R2 SP2, and need some advice on configuring exchange. I know that I need to point the MX records to the server (and that is already in hand). What I would like to do is this:

1. All users to recieve the same emails (at present they use OWA provided by intermedia) and have 1 mail box info@domain.com which all access and share. How do I configure exchange so that they all share the same mailbox/emails? At some point they'll move to individual email addresses, but not for a few months.

2. Some users want to connect to exchange remotely using Outlook and OWA cached mode whilst working offsite. How do setup Outlook/exchange to use OWA cached mode to allow people to connect whilst out of the office without using VPN or remote desktop?

Help would be greatly appreciated as this is my first exchange setup.

Why are you even bothering if you are not going to give users their own mailboxes? Why wait months out?

Direct the "info" to a public folder so all users can access it. Give each user a mailbox.

Use the SBS wizards to setup each of your users.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
