I was reviewing a presentation that I have given before (and need to give on Thursday) and, about half way through, the pictures have a yellow cast. I tried replacing the images - no luck. I tried a new slide with a new insert - no luck. When I view the image in my windows viewer or Paintshop Pro or Photoshop, the image looks fine (there is a sequence of 75 pictures). Some images insert with the color cast and some do not, yet all of them look normal in the above image management programs.

Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!

Here is something from Sonia Coleman (A PPT expert)

"If the images were created in Photoshop 5.0, there is an incompatibility with PowerPoint 97 and PPT 2000 graphics filters. An upgrade to PS 5.5 or PS 6.0 will fix the problem. We've had this problem reported to us before
and I have confirmed that later versions of Photoshop are compatible with PowerPoint 97 and 2000."

Also, check the ICC color profile settings things in PhotoShop. Again as Sonia mentions " In Photoshop 5.5 I use the "Save for Web" wizard when I want to save as .gif and .jpg (it's a wonder for everything but MS Office apparently).

"In the wizard I had ICC Profile checked. I un-checked it and re-saved my image, went into PowerPoint, created a new presentation and inserted the new .jpg image, and Voila - - That's how you get the Yellow out!"
