HELP - Cognos Connection does not display newly created items

All:

I am having a problem where Cognos Connection does not display a newly created namespace (created from Configuration Manager). Further, if I put a deployed package in the $CRN_ROOT/deployment directory, it does not display either when I try to import it. I tried removing all of the files I had in the deployment directory to see if CC would recognize that, but it did not. I have tried several things without success; any suggestion would be appreciated.

The permissions doing anything with imports and exports had changed due to attempts to implement higher security. I had to add several users and groups back and grant them access to perform these operations. If I find out the minimum subset, I will post it here!
