We have 2 nodes IBMx255 with EXP300 and ServerRaid 4MX under Win2k Adv. Server.
Since this monday, each node restarts every 4 - 5 hours. there isn't any log in windows 2000 adv server evtlog (juste one poor and ironic event after Windows has started that reports the previous Shutdown was unexpected!!!).
And after each reboot, the ServerRaid starts disks synchronizing cyclely, e.g, logical drive 2, then 3, then 4 and when it's finished with logical drive 4, it restarts with logical drive 2... and so on until next Windows reboot !!!

We have applied the 7.10.18 firmware and driver for the 2 ServerRaids.

Contact IBM Support - quickly! They will probably want RAID logs, and you'll need to capture them before they wrap.

I've sent the logs to IBM since yesterday...... no response yet !

Do you have an open case? If so, call them back and request an update, letting them know that you already sent logs. If you don't like the response, request you case be escalated. This is different than requesting a duty manager - escalation is technical advancement to higher support.

If that doesn't get them moving, call your IBM account administrator and open a complaint. IBM has a strict service support policy, which when you know how to drive it, will get all the stops pulled out if you are paying for service and they are failing to deliver.
