I work in an ethernet environment with several hundred computers. All are running Windows XPsp2. Right now all the ethernet cards are set to "auto detect" the link speed and duplex. I need to change all the computers to "100mbps/full duplex". Is there a way to do this remotely or with a registy hack so I don't have to visit each computer individually? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! THANKS...

I don't have time to work out the details right now but you want to use wmi scripting. WMI can connect to another computer's settings and has access to things like the link speed/duplex setting. That should give you somewhere to start.

Does it depend on the card used?
Are your cards all the same?
Do NIC makers keep that particular setting standard?
