I have a page with many thumbnails, all automatically created, and they all link to their respective .jpg files, not .html pages with JPEG pasted on, but the actual .jpg files, so the address bar will say:

when I click on a thumbnail. The problem is that the thumbnail page has a black background, whereas when a JPEG is loaded into IExplorer, it sists on a white background, thus ruining the colour scheme of the site. Is there a way to make the JPEG page backgrounds black?

Hi Mike,

Why not just use html pages and customise them?

I personally don`t know a way to change the background on a link to an image, and I wouldn`t think there was a way to do it either.

You say that the thumbnail creation is automatic, what are you using to do this? Might get some more feedback if you give more details.

Hope this helps

ya, i don't think there is a way. that color is defigned by the useres system settings. like wullie said, you should just use an html page with the pic in it, it shoulden't be that hard to do.
