Hi
For various reasons, I had a problem installing the Linksys client software on a laptop with a WPC54G adapter, the result being that I manually tried to unpick the installation and am now in an inbetween stage, I can install the driver and use the device, but I can't use the Linksys connection wizard to assign SSIDs or WEP settings.
I am stuck with an ghost installation of the Linksys connection software. I have deleted all the linksys files and folders that I can find and deleted some Linksys registry keys but still when I attept to install the package I tells me that an older version is already installed and that I should un-install this from the start menu.
Does anyone know how I can clear this out, are there some .dll's that I need to remove, or some hidden registry keys?
I know Im asking a lot but if anyone can help, I would be very grateful.
Cheers
..EB
