Ok, i needed some files from my old harddrive so I connected it to this computer as a slave.

The computer detected it and all, but I cant seem to transfer files from my old harddrive to this current one. It keeps saying I need to format it. But I dont want to format my old drive. How do i transfer it?

The harddrives are both NTFS.

Might have to do with the cluster size on older smaller drive.....
Do you have enough room on new drive to create new ntfs partition...
Are you trying to move data files ?
and/or system files too?
