Help !!! Can't print report in VB 6.0 with Crytstal report 8

I' ve installed crystal report 8.0 and VB 6, I'm not sure whterh is the incompatiblity with these both software. I created a report in Crystal Rpt8. and with the following command in VB6.

crystal report1.filename = app.path & "\report1.rpt"
crytstalreport1.printreport
crystalreport1.action = 1.

there is no preview window or any other windows. VB6 just by pass this command. Please help me !!! I'm a collegue student. currently rushing for a project which will due on next sunday. Pls......

hai,
i don't know anything about cr8 version.but one thing i can tell is instead of giving crpt.filename you must give
crpt.reportfilename. i think with this u will get report now.

crpt.ReportFileName = App.Path "\Report.rpt"
crpt.Destination = crptToPrinter
crpt.PrintReport

above statements are worked in crystal reports 7.0
