Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone can point out the specific RFC or e-mail standard pertaining to handling of delayed e-mails.
Situation is this: my SMTP server sends out an e-mail to their server. Their servers bounce around the e-mail for 2 hrs within their own network. Client that uses their e-mail system receives the e-mail 2 hrs later. Their programmers tell me that according to Internet e-mail standards, up to 4 days was within spec.
