I have a db of 350,000 records. How can I break this up in 7 groups of 50,000 and create 7 separate excel files. The only way I see is highlight the data and then export but that is taking forever.

THANKS!!!!!

How about queries? Presumably an approximation to 7,000 will do, so your queries would run:

[tt]Select * from tblTable Where ID<7000
" Where ID Between 7001 And 14000 'Between is inclusive[/tt]

And so on.

I jut started using Access2007, so I do not know exactly how to do what you mentioned.

Does your table have an ID or key field with numbers or any form of unique identifier? if so, what is the first number/ID and what is the last number/ID? Do you know how to create a query?
