Help Backup exec 8.6

this is what I get in the event viewer win nt4.0

The description for Event ID ( 57745 ) in Source ( Backup Exec ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Nightly.

Also my backup, have error message
Job compleation status: Failed

But I have files on the tape.
What is going on?

Please help, I am about to loose my job because of this stupid error.

In Backup Exec, go to the Activity tab. Right-click on the failed job and select properties. Then go to the JOB LOG tab and select the button that says View/Edit Job Log. That will give you a good view of the Job History. Look through that and see what actually failed.

Do you have Remote Agent option installed? Lets you back up files from a remote server.
Do you have the Open File Agent option installed? Lets you back up files that are open and being used.

One or both of those might be causing the error.
