The ABR feature on my Starplus DHS is no longer working. It will dial out the last busy number without a problem, doing so for the programmed number of attempts however when it encounters a busy signal it will NOT disconnect the call and wait for the countdown before redialing.
I had it programmed before and it worked for quite awhile but then my Option Board started in with intermittent problems and I experienced the above problem.
Option Board finally crapped out and I bought a new one. Upon re-installing the new board, all the previous symptoms have disappeared but I still am not able to utilize the ABR. I have to manually disconnect each "Busy" call else the phone just rings forever.
I've adjusted the parameters to 10 attempts, 60 second interval, and shortened tone detect time to 2 seconds (total of 4.5). The Feature light goes out on the phone after about 4.5 seconds but the call continues to ring through the speaker or headset and will not disconnect.
On a hunch, I attempted to shorten the Active Call Abandon Time to 200ms to see if that might help (Yes, the outgoing CO is set for Call Abandone)but still no joy.
Other than another bad option board, any ideas?
