My p4s533 will not post past the memory test. It says"system failed memory test". I have 256 mb samsung 2700 ddr non-buffered memory in it that worked fine for 5 months. I bought a new stick of crucial 256 2100 ddr non-buffered thinking that the samsung went bad. Same result. No matter which stick is in which slot same result. I have cleared cmos. I have pulled processor to see if that would fail 1st in post and it did. As soon as i put processor back it fails memory test. Any ideas.

It is either the memory, the motherboard, the CPU, or the powersupply. Check the voltage for the memory. My guess is that it is the motherboard. If you bought new memory and it failed the test, it is time to test the CPU if you have an extra one. Hopefully you tried a different memory slot to see if it was just the one memory slot. Also try checking the settings in the BIOS for the memory. Might try to use the reset to BIOS defaults before testing. If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.
