help!!! application has generated an exception that cannot be handled

I am recieving an error message whenever i try to open up my peachtree complete accouting software.
the window title is:
peachw.exe - common language routine debugging

then: application has generated an exception that cannot be handled

process id=0xfo(2032) thread id=0xb78(2936)

then an ok button. Hitting ok exits the product. I uninstalled and reinstalled but i still get the same thing. Please help me, its getting to be tax time and i need this for my clients.

These error may be caused by a few problems.

1. AniVirus software, test it by turning it off
2. Damaged data files - Check with DataSoft -

3. Damaged install program. Copy your companies data directory, uninstall peachtree using the control panel, reboot your computer, reinstall.
