I am new in VS Basic.NET and wish to use VB. NET to develop database application for my project of higher diploma course.
The databse is simple a databse that maintains customer records and orders ( similar as Northwind) without use of any Server-client feature.
My qusetions :
1. Is VB NET is suitable to develop such kind of application ?
2. Must I use the Access 2000/02 as to develop database structure , table and connected VB. NET ?
3. I read may books of VS Baic NEt that only talking about SQL serevr incorporate with Visual Basic .NET ? But I don't need SQL server ,and is really difficult to understand . Can anyone there any books ot Web tutorial offer such application development ?
4.Is there any sample of such databse applictaion I can find from Internet?
