I built a new server 5.0.6 and was trying to add a
second disk with existing data (previous version 5.0.4)
so that I can copy files from that.

I did a 'mkdev hd' and went through divvy etc. and in the
process changed the partitions/filesystems. Ouch :-(.
Now when I do divvy again, I see the whole disk and not
the partitions so that I can mount them.

Is there anyway, I can go and mount the second disk so that I can retrieve data?.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Suggest a visit to A.P.Lawrence site and a search for divvy table. Couple of hits there with possible help. Also look into "fsdb" which is the tool to help you get the table back.
