If your printer is an LPT printer, hook it up to your server or a workstation and load the drivers like you would normally for a local printer. Then right click the printer and choose sharing. give the printer a share name and it will accessible in the directory by computername\sharename such as \\server\hp4.
If the printer has a NIC, then get it up on your network by plugging it in. You will need to read the manual for the NIC to see how to either set it up with DHCP or configure a static IP. Once that is done, do the steps outlined above.
