I have a Netware 3.12 Server; I tried to install an Antivirus Software (NETSHLD.NLM), but, one error happened: "Loader cannot find public symbol: FEMapVolumeAndDirectoryToPathForNS"

What patch or service pack do I have to install in my server?

Thank you GRETTINGS

I'm not familiar with running NetShield under Netware, but it is always good policy to make sure you have all of the very latest fixes and patches installed (pay particular attention to CLIB).

Otherwise, check NetShield's documentation. Is there another NLM that must be loaded prior to NETSHLD.NLM?

I was just wondering if you happened to find out the answer to your question regarding Novell 3.12 and NetShld. I get the same exact public symbol message when attempting to load.

Thanks
Andy

If you have McAfee Viruscan ver. 5.0 or higher, you can´t fix this problem.

You have to install a lowest version, and update with the DAT´S and Enginee publicate in the webpage of McAfee.

It´s a little complicate, but it´s the most properly for resolv this problem.
