Help, My lab has been plagued with this problem, we're on PII 300's with 256 MB RAM on a WINNT 4 system using Max 3.1:
Periodically, transforming of an object (move, rotate, scale) begins to go haywire, most notably, moving down causes it to move down, moving up causes it to move further down, left to left and right to left aswell. The only fix to this problem we've found is to do a complete reinstall of the software, however its only a matter of time before the problem occurs again, seeming to have no apparent trigger. It is becoming a real hassle here, having 32 computers to reinstall every couple months. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so, how was it fixed? Or perhaps someone could enlighten me as to the cause of such a bug?
Thank you
