We have started using sharepoint team services on W2K server with the latest updates and patches. We are having the following issue. On the search page after typing in the search string this is what the return page is:

The whole entire time I had SharePoint v1 on my server I was having the same problem. I was not able to find any information as to why it was that way, or how to correct it. What I can tell you is that with SharePoint v2, if you are running the MSDE vs SQL, searching does not work. This may be the case with v1 also, but I am not sure. In v2 you just dont get any results back.....but I am very familiar with error you are receiving after searching in v1. It may be the same scenario and it does not work with MSDE.....anyways, sorry I dont have a better answer for you, but you may want to look into that and see if that is the case for v1 as well.
