With ADO or BDE? that's the queston...
Here is an example of how to create the ConnectionString when connecting with ADO:
ADOConnection.ConnectionString := 'Provider=MSDASQL.1;Persist Security Info=False;Extended Properties="DBQ=C:\Access-Database.mdb;Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}"';
