hello there,my friend have a restaurant using micros 3700 long time ago,now he want to open new branch,did he need to buy license for the new branch for 3700? are buying license for micros 3700 still avaliable? or what he can do to install micros 3700 to be legal? thank you in advanced for any help

After Acquisition by Oracle, Micros is no longer require the license but you need subscribe the annual maintenance. if you do not subscribe then cannot obtain the patch download/upgrade and support. Your friend can contact Oracle F&B sales office to purchase the services, or they can just copy their existing POS to the new store without any support from Oracle/Micros
