Hello,

I know Cisco Unity Express is normally installed on a router, however when I read the implementation documentation - it says it's supported as a virtual install. So that makes me wonder - can you install Cisco Unity Express on VMware? Just wondering if that is possible?

In the end, I would like to connect it to another manufacture's PBX via SIP trunking (or FXS) and use it as a voicemail server.

Do you think this is possible, or am I just out to lunch?

Thanks!

It is supported as a virtual installation as well. There's an OVA that installs on Esxi.
I would do SIP integration and not FXS.

Thank you for the response - I greatly appreciate it.
