Hello,

I have a report that has several sub-reports contained within it. When using the Crystal Reports 8.5 tool, I get asked for a username/password only once.

After having posted the report to Crystal Enterprise, I get asked for a username/password for the report and EACH sub-report - even though the username and password is the same for each.

Is there anyway work around to this? Can I pass the main reports password via a parameter? If so.. how?

Thanks very much,
Ross Kusler

In the CMC, go to the "database" tab for the report. You can enter the database user/password combo there and make certain that the "prompt user" box is unchecked. Then the user will never be prompted.
