Hello,

I have a report as follows

2002 2003 Year

No of outputs 10 20 30
Value 1000 2000 3000
...
...

Now I want to divide the Year "No of Outputs" = 30 into all the values in the Year only and create a new column, as follows

2002 2003 Year Per Unit

No of outputs 10 20 30
Value 1000 2000 3000 100
....

Any ideas. I do not want to divide "No of outputs" into all the measures and create it for all years as this makes the report very big with information I do not need. I basically want to divide one row in the Year column into the rest of the rows in the year column. Any help would be appreciated

I can only see this possible in sub reports. I was unable to do this in a list report or a crosstab report.

Hello CP,

The report is a powerplay report not an Impromptu report. Sorry about not giving the addition info.

I find this difficult in Power Play Reporter Mode.
You might have to create a column in transformer that
gives you this information and zeros for the ones you don't want to see. I can't see how you can do this from the reporter mode of the cube. I know it is impossible in explorer mode. It will be interesting to find out how your new column comes through.

Hello Cp,

I have been trying to solve this but I dont think there is a possibility. If I do the calculation in transformer it will mean about 20 addition measures which I think is crazy in terms of cube creation and size and just lead to a more difficult cube to use as the cube will be greater than 8gb. I guess I will do the calculation in Explorer mode and have the additional data and a larger report. I am not impressed with this idea but thats Cognos!
