This is something your Business Partner should be able to answer.

As per the original answer. If you can't program an Absent Text button yourself then as per the next answer you need to ask your system administrator to set it up for you.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I am a system administrator, but I do not know how configure.

thanks

But I assume you have support from someone or are you an Avaya Partner?

I leads to research to learn more option on the Avaya system

I am a system administrator" - then use IP Office Manager to give yourself a Set Absent Text button and use it (Hint: User | Button Programming | Advanced | Set | Set Absent Text).

Then clearly you are not.
As your maintainer for basic admin training (either that or advise your employer that you are unfit for your job & resign).

It might need to be said that this is (at least how I see it) mainly a technical forum to help fellow technicians.
There fore we assume that you have basic knowledge of the system, have access to support pages and usually work for a partner.

It's not a way for end-users to get free help because they don't wanna pay for support from a support partner.
Most of us make a living supporting these systems and working for free don't put much food on the table.

To be fair Ihave no problem with giving basic advise to end users who manage their own systems BUT i do expect them to display some understanding.

I am a system administrator, but I do not know how configure.
this and over statements from the OP lead me to believe he has never looked at the system before & that he should be contacting his maintainer.

Indeed this would be a good start there are many documents & tutorials available on the web (the best has previously been referenced) & training is readily available.
and with even a minimal knowledge of the system the F1 help key becomes invaluable

And then the OP said "Thank you" in the very next post. Funny stuff. A great Friday post that made my day.
