Hello everyone:
We have a new app that is running on a SQL DB. We also have an AS400 720e that will be 'de-commisioned' pretty soon. To me, thats a waste not only, I have many years of RPG programming but also I dont feel so comfortable with the idea of keeping the corporate data on a Wintel platform. I've been looking around for a utility that converts SQL DB to the AS400 DB2 so I can do all my programming on the AS400. My 400 can also be my file backup if I can setup the conversion every night. Or better yet if theres a way to access an SQL DB using RPG from the AS400.
Does anybody know if this is in existence?
