hello everyone,

How can I set the users to be able to have multiple logins on the same AIX station specially when having to remotely login on that certain station when the user has already logged to the station locally

thanks

You do not need multiple logins, you can login with the same userid/password as many times, from as many location as you are authorized.

Maybe you are thinking about "Maximum number of fixed licenses"

If yes, then check:

lslicense

man chlicense

yes I'm referring to the max # of fixed licensed
It was changed by going to the /etc/security/login.cfg file and thanks for telling me command.
Would this still hold true when different user logins are used on the same machine?
Example:
on a RS/6000 43p machine the maxlogin is set to 5.
Can users A, B, C, D, & E login locally and remote
at the same time? will user F not be able to login?
