hello everyone,

has anybody used lotus notes agent ver 1.2 ? I currenly have problem with this agent. when I perform backup with save set NOTES: it went perfectly until saveset note_2 and said that there is inactivities timeout. Also, some users get locked when backup process is running.

Hi ,

If you're using an OS prior to W2K , you better user open file manager ( OFM ) with your lotus notes server .

OFM is a product for backing up opened file .

Networker Module for Lotus is fulll of bugs .

Do you run any anti-virus software on your Lotus Notes server? If yes, you need to exclude the LN agent temp directory.
It take so long to replicate the LN database before write to tape. Therefore, you should increase the inactivity timeout in the group properties.
Since I have quite well experience in Legato LN agent setup and know how bad of it, if you need any further information, just let me know.
