My Director just came to me asking me to create an invitation that's going to be e-mailed to 150 people. Can I create this in InDesign and have it inserted into the actual email without it being an attachment?

If so, how do I do this? Is it explained anywhere in the online Help?

Unfortunately, he wants to see a proof early this afternoon!

InDesign CS (assuming you are still using this based on your other threads) could export a PDF. You could open that PDF file in Photoshop and rasterize to a decent size for emailing.

If you are sending a flattened JPG image of your design, it may be best to author both a HTML message (with the JPG) and a plain text message that duplicates the text used in your design. This will allow everyone to read your message, even if they are unable to view HTML messages. This is called multi-part mail.

IDCS will not directly export HTML.
