OK, I'm embarassed to admit this, but I've never had a RAID 5 drive fail on me, and now one has and I don't know what to do. <blush>
I'm running a whitebox server w/ NT4 SP6a and an Adaptec SCSI RAID card (I think it's an Adaptec I20). I've got three 18GB IBM SCSI 10k drives connected to this card.
I'm fairly certain I can bluff my way through it, but I figure why take chances when the machine is a production box that handles all backups for my company and I have you fine folks to rely on for assistance.
Can anyone help me?
