Please, could anyone give me the functionality of the command AT-X when I'm connected trhough DTE port and hyperterminal? The manuals don't make the resetting have success and I tried with other AT commands, I tried with AT-X and it result in "Multisector erase....." and now I was unabla to reset the IP office.
Didn't exist anyway to send a new configuration to the system or any command to repair it?

Thanks in advance

The AT-X command erase the Box and only leave the "loader". You use the loader to upload new software.
You cant send a new config after AT-X has been done.

What you need to do to repair is this:
Connect a PC to the IPO both to the DTE and one of the LAN ports.
Get the MAC adress and IP of the unit(open the tftplog and reboot the unit. It should request the bootp and show the IP and MAC in the tftp log).

Make a new bootp in manager using MAC and IP. File should be ipXXX.bin (where XXX is the type of IPO(403, 406, 412 etc)) Make sure the .bin file is placed in the manager folder(C:\..\avaya\manager\).

Exit the manager and start it again and open the tftp log.

Reboot unit.

Tftp log should show you that it is loading the .bin file.

After it has finished you should have a default IPO and be able to load a config.

I hope this is what you were looking for.

And for the future :

If you want to reset the IP Office through the DTE port then type the following two commands:
at-debug
reboot

Anything else should only be done if you know what you are doing ( read the documents ;)

Thanks Inuit, your method is the best to recover my IPO, now it's working and I feel so so happy.
I don't believe it, I believed that I have to throw it to the bin.
Thanks a lot.

It is not realy necesary now you have recovere your unit but my FAQ940-5354 details causes of upgrade failure & usage of the DTE Port
