Good Morning

After reading alot on HA and trying to get it to work I have one question

Does the MAster Suse web server and the Heartbeat server need to be in a cluster?

Does "be in a cluster" mean "using shared storage"? Frequently, cluster servers share storage on a SAN so they both have access to the same files. With web servers, your master and backup server might not need this. You just need to figure out whether the backup server can properly do its job if the master is gone. If so, then you can probably just sync the content rather than using shared storage.

Another option might be is drbd.
