I have a hearing impaired user that needs to adjust Tone, Mid-level and Bass on a per call basis. Does anyone have a device I can "hook up" to the handset that will allow these adjustments? I am open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks in Advance

TBH, I've found that the most effective solution for Hearing Impaired users is a softphone, and use the windows applet to alter the sound as required

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Thanks all: Matt. Is your solution using an headset? Please explain the applet?

Thanks again

Sorry I meant the default windows sound voulume control In advanced mode it gives you the ability to alter the bass and treble (sound driver dependant).

Thanks Matt. Headset causes feed back into the hearing aid. User refuses headset.

Ed, I have had success with a product from Starkey called a "hearset". It is customized to each user by their own hearing specialist, so it accommodates their individual needs. It replaces their hearing aid while they are on the phone, so no interference. It plugs in to the headset port, or uses a two-prong (P-10) adapter. The last contact info I had for them was a Dave Olson at 952-915-6222. Hope this helps.
