Hello!
I like to connect "normal" headphones to acoustic adapter on the optipoint.
I have acoustic adapter with headset port, but the port is RJ45, headphones -jack.
If someone have orginal headset, could look how this set is conected to adater (pinout)?
Regards

Hello!
Two center pins don,t working.
Question:
In the speaker and external microphone optiset recognise this set.
To recognise Optiset use some pins connected together.
Mayby here is the same?
How the Optiset know, that You have connected headset?
I thing that optiset must disconnect the "handset" and use headset micropohone and speaker.
I try some configurations, but still don't work:(
Regards

I should say that i've no experiece with a acoustic adapter, but most of the issues i run into are solved as following.

Use a straigh cable or try to switch pin 1 with 2 and switch pin 3 with 4.

I've also looked this up in a service manual of siemens, but they only mention a rj-11 jack.
So i think if you use a rj-45 u have to use pin 3,4,5,6

So when you switch the pins in a rj-45 you should switch 3 with 4 and 5 with 6.

I hope this works. Good Luck

Try >> Downloads >> Installation Guides >> optiPoint 500 Add-on Devices, Adapters, Accessories. The pinouts for the RJ45 are provided. Hopefully these RJ45 pinouts for the optiPoint 500 Acoustic Adapter are exactly the same as that of the Optiset.
