First post, please be gentle.
BCM400
Just upgraded the firmware on our 1140e handsets from 0625C4L to 0625C6L, now the users have commented that the headset rings in there ear when the handset rings. Any way of reducing the volume or turning it off?
Another related question,
Looking at the Nortel docs they indicate that I should have a prefs menu (dedicated button) on these phones, which should have the following options
Preferences (Prefs) menu
1. Display—Adjust screen display settings.
2. Audio—Adjust ring pattern, Handset, Headset, Handsfree,
and Alerting volume.
3. Feature Options—Program feature keys, call decline reasons,
call ignore actions, and call subjects, call fwd notification.
4. Message Options—Adjust voice mail and IM settings.
5. Language—Change language.
6. Misc Options—Set alpha dialing, search method, privacy
settings, # Ends dialing, location, and time.
7. Network—Access server settings, device settings, diagnostics
and menu lock.
If I double tap the services button and go into the preferences there, I only only see the following.
1. Display Settings
2. Language
3. Headsets (Its not in here I checked
)
4. Bluetooth Setup
Where is this prefs menu? How do I get to it?
TIA!!
Andy
