headset on a 4424 LD+

I need to install a headset on a 4424+. Does anyone know what button programming I need? I have tried the headset status button but it doesn't seem to work. I know I need a HIC 1 Adapter to plug into the headset port of the phone, but is there a volume control or a release button?

you need a headset hang up ,can only be set by administrator in extension prog.

with your status light on , touch the sta or line button,hang up with headset hang up
